About Mikie
U.S. Naval Academy graduate, Navy helicopter pilot, former federal prosecutor, wife, and mother of four kids – Mikie Sherrill proudly serves New Jersey in Congress and is running for governor to make life easier and more affordable for Garden State families. Her career has been defined by service to her country and New Jersey.

Affordability
From housing and grocery prices, to child care and health care, Mikie will work constantly as your governor to bring down costs for families.
Protecting Abortion Rights
As Governor, Mikie will enshrine abortion rights into our state constitution and stockpile the abortion pill Mifepristone to protect against unlawful overreach by the Trump administration.
Education
Every child deserves a top tier education no matter their zip code. As governor, Mikie will expand programs like high-impact tutoring so all kids have a chance to succeed, and she will make school meals available at no cost for every student so no kid goes home hungry.
